Choose the option that applies to you. Plan changes, cancellation notices and handover requests should be made in writing so there is a clear record for both sides.

Monthly website plans can be ended during the initial term by giving 30 days' written notice, subject to the Customer Agreement.

  • If you do not want to keep the website, ownership does not transfer and the Gold Oak-built site may be taken offline when service ends.
  • If you want to keep the website before all 12 initial payments are complete, an early website buyout applies.

Once all 12 initial monthly payments are complete, you own the bespoke website work and can choose what happens next.

  • Gold Oak Care — currently £39.99/month.
  • Hosting only — currently from £15/month.
  • Transfer the website elsewhere.

Request website handover

After ownership has transferred and all undisputed sums are paid, you can request the agreed website files/database and customer-owned credentials.

  • The normal handover target is within 10 working days of a written request.
  • Separately requested migration work may be quoted first.

Early ownership

Keeping the website before payment 12.

If you end an Essential, Business or Complete monthly website plan before all 12 initial payments have been made and you want to keep the bespoke website, the Customer Agreement uses the following website purchase prices for the early buyout calculation:

£499 website purchase price
Business
£699 website purchase price
Complete
£899 website purchase price

For the buyout calculation, one twelfth of the applicable website purchase price is credited for each initial monthly payment already made. The remaining website purchase balance is payable before ownership transfers.

If you cancel and do not want to keep the bespoke website, no early website purchase payment is required merely to end the service.
